Mochiads - The advertising network just for game developers

I was invited to the beta some time ago, but I never submitted a game. It was in my “to do” list but you know… some projectes in a “to do” list remain in the list forever.

Mochiads

Now Mochiads, the first advertising network just for game developers, is open for everyone.

Earn money developing Flash Games

Now that the beta is over, you can start earning money from your game. You can monetize your games in a four steps:

1) Register to Mochiads

2) Submit a game

3) Choose what type of ad formats you want to display (there is a rather wide choice of options such as ads format, when to display ads, and more)

4) Include the code provided by Mochiads in your game

Then you can repeat steps 2-4 as much times as you want, as long as you can produce Flash games.

Earn money WITHOUT developing Flash Games

For those of you too lazy to develop a game but running a blog or a site ,once you register to Mochiads you can use your custom referral link on your site, in forums, in your games, or anywhere else you want to tell others about Mochiads. When someone signs for a new account, you’ll get $20 when he earns his first $100 (the minimum payout).

I am going to submit a game in a week, then I’ll update you about the results achieved.

This is really a good reason to read my tutorials and start developing your game.

Mochi ads seems like a brilliant idea where you can actually earn money for your game and it wont have a websites logo plastered all over it,

I may not be able to donate to this woderfull site but when i sign up it’ll be via your referral link thanks for letting us know and for your wonderful tutorials

I did not see any age limit in the official site, I think they should pay everyone with a Paypal account

    Don’t go with MochiAds.
I made this game (link below) with a decent score, and I made $0.06. And you can’t negotiate anything. Unless you can’t find a sponsor, and there are plently willing to pay, don’t bother.

Ed i think its for your game got a little less then 1k views say you 0.01$ per view you should get 10$. And the minimum payout is 100$ so you can’t have earn 0.06$.

While you can’t make a lot of money with Mochi Ads but the advantage is you can use it with a sponsorship. You can filter your ads so they don’t show on your sponsor’s site. This means if the site spreads from that site it will show the ads on those sites. Also Ed the views are what make you money with Mochi Ads not the score.

MochiAds is actually quite wonderful. Your Flash game you linked to, Ed, only received 1000 hits.

Mochi Ads is a cost per 1000 page view advertising network, otherwise known as a CPM network. Obviously, they pay you per every 1000 page views. Normally, we’re talking a minimal amount - especially since these are often raw, non-unique views of your game.

They pay well, but you need a lot of views in order for it to be worth your while. This is a perfect solution for people who want to earn a small return on their time… it isn’t meant to allow you to make a living off of developing Flash games.

The best way to make money from them is to develop often, as well as to spread your game to as many sites as possible.

Emanuele, good find. I registered through your affiliate link.
