About to relelase the forum

Today a server maintenance does not allow me to upload files… I have a dynamically generated tunnel for Metro Siberia Underground but you’ll have to wait until tomorrow to see it AFAIK.

Meanwhile I would like you to know I am going to release a forum to discuss about actionscript, Flash games, monetizations and so on.

I just need a little help with that “and so on”… at the moment the forum I created are:

Game Showcase
Actionscript 2.0
Actionscript 3.0
Tutorials around the web
Photoshop
Flash monetization experiences

But I would like to take advantage of this dead day to know if you would like other forums.

At the question “why making a forum?” the reply is “to talk about everything can’t find a place in post comments with a proper engine (phpbb3)”

Anyway, I would like you to see the tunnel I made for Siberia…

    Hi,
    Keep in mind that PhpBB is often hacked. I gave it up since I did not have the time to keep up with all the updates…

    i looked again at clicky,
    it says that u visited from madrid, spain.
    on the 16th and u had visited on the 17th from
    New Jersey…????????? QUE??????

    i just found out that you can visit my site from the comments. LOL.
    i’m so smart.
    its just that it says that the referer is emanueleferonato.com
    oh wow, i just realized its REFERER.

    still, people have visited me from 5 cities from 2 continents! though most of them spend less than 4 mins. hahahahaha.
    hey maybe if i put enough comments on ur site, then more people will visit me, hooray!

    The idea of having a forum is not bad. BUT remember, you will have lots of spammers in a forum (even in the comments section now) and it is very hard to manage a forum (especially phpBB, where the spambots can hack it easily). I’ve seen a few sites closed down / became dead due to the annoying but extremely active spambots in the past. Sometimes, it is also hard to get active members to keep posting in the forum. Good luck running the forum!

    Yeah limpeh is right. But a forum sounds so interesting. Also make a chat room in which we can chat with Emanuele Feronato, the great!

    A forum that’s sounds great. An idea for a forum could be WIP(Work in progress) but I don’t know if that’s what “Game showcase” is.

    Anyway looking forward for the forum :)

    I agree with Corey, I’d like a place to find artists, although I think this is more a programmers page than an artists one.
