I just got my 2 copies of this book from Amazon yesterday. I got one for myself and one for my programmer…
I wish there was an easier way to knowledge for a non-programmer like myself. But your site is a big help!!!

I have to agree with the mini-review of the book. As a person familiar with programming but new-ish to AS2 & AS3, I picked up the book to help with my understanding of AS3.

The book really does assume you understand a lot about how AS2 worked. It’s funny, the more AS2 I learn, the more the book’s AS3 explanations make sense.

All told, it’s the best AS3 book that I’ve found and I recommend it to anyone looking to learn AS3, just be patient if you don’t know ActionScript at all.

I started with Rosensweig’s Flash 5 for Fun and Games. It was already out of date when I found it in the bargain bin, but I didn’t know the difference. I was just happy to make my first game. I’m glad he’s still around. I want it!
