if you create two variables such as scoreoriginal and scoredisplay then you can have the score the player is actually getting stored in the variable &quot;scoreoriginal&quot; and then you could add a number to it for example 7, then on the &quot;scoredisplay&quot; variable would contain the variable scoreoriginal but it would minus 7 meaning, you could then submit the variable &quot;scoreoriginal&quot; to the highscore.
 if they do use a program to memory alter they would be altering the displaying score rather than the score that will be submitted to the high scores, obviously this would only work if the game was encrypted so that they couldnt target the original score variable.
