Milestone: 500,000 plays on Triqui.com

I am very happy to inform you about another Triqui.com milestone: half a million plays.

Half a million is nothing compared to big names plays, but it’s quite good for an auto-feed portal written in a day.

It took 56 days to reach the first 250,000 plays and “only” 53 for these ones.

The overall eCPM is 0.14 for the home page and $1.84 for the ingame one.

I did not make anything to promote the portal except some ingame self sponsorships as described in First Triqui’s milestone: 250,000 plays – considerations but now it’s time to revamp the portal using WordPress as said at Creation of a Flash arcade site using WordPress.

When the new site will be ready, I am sure I’ll reach the million plays faster than now.

   So, wait. Does that mean at $1.84 for the ingame ads (I presume you mean the ads on the game page, not inside the game that the developers get), at at 500,000 plays (which is practically the page loads of the ingame ads) you have made $1.84*500 = $920 already from ingame ads alone :o.
   Nice one :) I hope the re-design of the site works great.

   My friend is doing the same kind of thing and experimenting with releasing his own portal. It’s investigating to hear your results. I hope it continues to go well.
