Today Adobe released Flash Player 10 for download.
Probably some of you already downloaded the beta some weeks ago, but now it’s available for download the release stable version.
At the moment there is a lot of interest about Pixel Bender that will allow to implement image processing algorithms in a hardware-independent manner.
In other words, it can be the same revolutionary idea that was behind DirectX creation.
You can find a demo of pixelbender capabilities here (Flash Player 10 required).
I can’t wait to mess around with FP10 new features, meanwhile I strongly suggest you to download the player

Cool! I’m downloading it now…
Sounds good, i’ll be updating soon.
i installed and i can say it work better than the version 9 in linux. for me dont freeze like before and have a better performance.
great improvement :)
Regards,
Shadow.
Flash 9 has a so greately optimized cpu rasterization that for some tasks i think it will be even faster than GPU acceleration….
Anyway WELCOME FLASH 10 !!! WE WAIT FLASH CS4 TO START CODING !! :D
I didn’t download it but I wanted to warn you that many sites are testing the last digit before the dot of your version of Flash.
Flash 9.0 = Flash 9
Flash 9.5 = Flash 9
Flash 10.0 = Flash 0
I don’t know how much time it will take those sites to adress this but it is a bug.
