Triqui MochiAds Arcade plugin 1.11 released

Yesterday MochiMedia‘s feed added a new field, making the MochiAds Arcade plugin not longer compatible with the new feed.

You are invited to download version 1.11, while I am thinking about a way to automatically inform all plugin users when I release a new version.

I noticed some plugins have an auto-update system but it’s not what I am looking for, I would like to have some kind of database driven area when I can write custom message rather than a warning in the plugin page.

Stay tuned, and meanwhile install the new version.

The next one I am developing will surely include this feature.

If you had the plugin listed in the WP Plugin Repository, it would automatically notify everyone who has the plugin. Pretty easy.

I’ve been adding some modifications to the previous version I’m using to account for these changes.

I’ve also added some features of my own that I have found useful. First, I’ve added 2 additional filters to the “Manage Games” listing: “Recommended Games” and “Has Scoreboard”. This has made choosing games from the main feed much easier and allows me to filter out some of the trash.

Another feature I’ve added is the auto-post functionality that Mochi Media offers on their site. You provide the URL to the script and it will add the game you selected from their Publisher pages to the feed table. On top of this, I have filtered the feed table in 2: games pulled directly from the feed and games “posted” by the auto-post functionality.

If you would like me to forward along any of the code for these, please feel free to contact me. I would like to help add some additional functionality and rather not end up forking your great work.

As for the update display, you could use the Dashboard functionality to your advantage. You might want to take a look at this as it would probably suit your needs.
