Triqui’s Picks #6
Six great games for you to play this week:
Valiance: The best game this week in my opinion… a platform game with jump, double jump, swords and gravity switch… and upgrades…
What I liked: Great game!
Programming difficulty: So many things… 5/5
Cannon Plunder: A Bloons clone, but this time you are using a cannon mounted on a pirate ship to collect coins. Some bouncers and special items give the game a new twist. You can even create and share your own levels
What I liked: It’s the kind of game you want to play just to see the next level
Programming difficulty: Bloons games aren’t that hard to make 2/5
Beaver Conquest: Controlling a beaver wearing an eye patch, in this platform game you must protect communication towers from evil robots using various weapons.
What I liked: I like games with various weapons
Programming difficulty: complete games with wapons, powerups and so on aren’t easy. 4/5
Ononmin: A puzzle game made by Tony Pa for the 60 Seconds to Fame contest, you have a minute to launch a ball through the longest possible path,
What I liked: Original concept
Programming difficulty: Trigonometry. 1/5
Spectro Destroyer: Great puzzle/platform, reminded me early 90’s coin op arcades. Destroy all aliens with your laser using colored mirrors to hit each alien with a beam of the same color
What I liked: Great game
Programming difficulty: Platform and mirrors… 4/5
Clickplay 2: Find the “play” button combining various elements on each level. Great vintage effect
What I liked: The puzzles and the vintage effect
Programming difficulty: Each stage is quite simple, but there are a lot of them… 5/5
See you next week
They can be easily customized to meet the unique requirements of your project.

Please tell us you got paid to say that games is great…
Valiance: is nice but too slow, and the weapon-collision is odd
Cannon plunder: the levels are not that great
beaver conquest: good but the controls are a little odd
onomnin: gameplay is fine, but the graphics are very simple, it looks like a prototype
Spectro Distroyer: it does NOT load… you must play at the sponsor site
Clickplay2: fun to play
Haha sweet, my game made the cut :D Go Beaver Conquest! Thanks Emanuele!
Hey, I made Valiance. Awesome to see it up here, thanks man.
