Triqui MochiAds Arcade plugin for WordPress upgraded to 1.2

Yesterday MochiMedia changed the games feed adding a new field called metascore that screwed the feed parsing.

So I am releasing the new version, compatible with the new feed and tested with WordPress 2.9.2. You can find it at the official page.

Talking about plugins, I am developing a new theme/plugin using crontables that automatically feeds the games, fixes the tables if MochiMedia updates the feed, and chooses the best games to publish.

Everything without any interaction from the user. The ultimate “forget about it and make money with your arcade site” plugin.

Stay tuned.

Very cool that you are staying with it after so much time and so many feed updates.

The ordering of the keys in the JSON feed is undefined, and addition to that undocumented keys may appear and disappear at any time. Please change your plugin so that it does not depend on the ordering, or else we will keep breaking it (not on purpose, but it will continue to happen).

People will have a hard time installing a fresh triqui plugin. But in the end, this is a great plugin, it’s the best I found so far, and I still use it.

First of all the plugin/theme is realy great.
But for now i prefer to stay with version 1.1.

After seeing that my games dont get added to the mochi table, i checked why and added the “metascore” table-entry by “hand” (INSERT INTO…) – after that everything worked flawless again :)
I prefer this method because i see when the feed changes – and especialy what the change is.
In case those fields get “auto-added” and i would recieve a “bogus” feed, the whole table would be messed up.

Not sure how this can be handled “properly”.

I can’t see anything happen beside all categories is created for me. when I go to mochi plugin folder. the following file is missing, mochi.css mochi.png and showswf.php where i found this in another website (cant remember where I download it).

I copy over this 3 files over to mochi folder. but still cant work. I am using V0.12 currently. May be this plugin does not work on WP3.0
