Redesigning the blog

Since the blog is almost five years old, I must seriously redesign it. The problem is: there are so many beautiful blog themes out there I really do not know how to redesign my blog.

That’s why I am asking you some suggestions. How should this blog look like? Which features would you add?

Help me with your ideas and feedback and I’ll design the blog according to your suggestions, obviously publishing the source code as usual.

I have to say I don’t like that much the blogs with slideshows in the header, preferring minimalist design like tutsplus network.

Well, I will wait for some suggestions, I’d start from the header. Consider I want to keep the logo.

WordPress heroes, this is your time. Show me your ultimate theme.

I like the template as it is now.
The only thing that bugs me about the header is the guy. Not that it’s bad, but I don’t see it fitting in like that. It takes up too much space.

Maybe float the guy to the left in its own div, having the space between the top navi bar and the bottom category bar shrink and go above/below “EMANUELE FERONATO italian geek and PROgrammer”

But this is just my thought.
Hope more people would help you and recommend some changes.
    See what’s fitting for you.

this is what I would like this blog to have :
    -A different BackGround(not white)
    -cooler and readable Fonts
    -Design(of buttons,comment boxes,anything)
-More animations to everything(like when we are browsing posts,or comments[the animations should probably just be eased movements])
    -hm…..I’ll think about it

    You should male-ify your logo.

I wish you classify your tutorials depending on their difficulty level:beginner-intermediate-advanced, this will be helpful for newbies who don’t know from where they should start.

    Hi everyone

First: great Blig, I love it :)

    But now to the term:
Like you said in the text, the website design like tutsplus network is minimal, well done structured. I like it too.

Another nice, well coloured with fancy icons and good readable website you can find here:

I didn’t know your logo is supposed to be a guy. I thought you made the logo after your love one. Not that I have a problem with it, but Monkios definitely has a point.
