Circle Chain for iPhone completed and ready to be submitted to App Store – Thank you iStencyl

I am proud to announce I completed my first iPhone game. Finally I made the iOS version of Circle Chain, it works like a charm and it was completely made with StencylWorks, with no coding.

The game runs really smooth, the framerate is good also when there are a lot of circles and bullets on the stage, as you can see from this video, if you have the patience to wait until I reach level 4 (I suck even when I play my own games, that’s why I am stuck at level nine on Skyrim for a week).

Now I am only waiting for Apple to solve my certificate issues (I am still in “pending” mode, called Apple by phone and they told me they’ll be fixing the issue “very soon”, four hours ago), then I’ll submit it to the App Store for free, so you all can enjoy this incredible game at no cost!!

Moreover, once I’ll get 1000 downloads, I’ll release the StencylWorks project for free so you will be able to see how it’s made.

Building this game for iPhone made me learn a lot of things about StencylWorks for mobile development, and obviously I will share everything with you as soon as the game will be in the App Store.

But the Circle Chain adventure isn’t over, I will continue to port this game using the best packages available and highlighting their best features.

At this time, I am making the HTML5 version, so stay tuned to see it in action in a few days!

    Looks great!

I’ve been doing some experiments with StencylWorks as well. I actually found it via your article few weeks ago :)

Would love to see the source of this game to learn some tricks :)

Emanuele, this means you feel more comfortable with Stencyl than Corona?
