Create cross-platform application and games with Dreemchest
Today I want to show you a development engine called Dreemchest.
While still under development, it already offers a wide range of interesting features such as:
1) Cross platform exporter. You can build for Windows, MacOS, iOS, Android and Flash
2) WYSIWYG editor, where you can manage assets, create levels and setup physics
3) Create UI for you game right in Adobe Flash IDE and put into the game
4) Built-in localization support
5) Simple Lua-scripting
You can benefit of the full open beta both for Mac and Windows, while I am playing with it in order to write a full review during next days.
Dmitry also got inspiration from my video showing the creation of a Concentration game in 22 minutes using Stencyl and made the same thing using DreemChest.
The engine looks absolutely promising and I liked the palette used for the scripting, probably inspired by Aptana Studio.
Expect a detailed review soon.
They can be easily customized to meet the unique requirements of your project.
